Artistic in stature, the Side Table makes itself apparent through a clever mix of materials and design. With a steel structure that’s tastefully veneered to imbue warmth, the Horatio was built for both elegance and resilience. A matte-painted stem runs north and south, ending on the surface as a matching pull for easy placement. The base features a circular cutout that flaunts its design while not taking away from its core stability. Commercial grade quality.
Just like its gemstone namesake, the Ruby Side Table stands out. Its material mix of tempered glass, powder-coated metal and richly-grained wood combine to create a piece that instantly makes a room feel special. Its slim legs are finished in bright blue and end in unique, disc-shaped feet.
LA-based designer Eric Trine “designs by making, rather than drawing.” Each project begins in his studio with his hands and tools. The idea for these tables was born on one of his many trips to a metal supplier where he saw a disc of salvaged sheet steel. He welded the geometric steel base and powder-coated it so it can live indoors or out. We love it as a display spot for terrariums, books or flea market finds.
