pendant utilizes the same double frame technique originally crafted to trap fish. Split cane weaves an open, airy design that lets through a lot of light from the glow of a single bulb. A stunning, natural statement in any space.
Grand in scale and statement, iridescent capiz shells seem to glow from within. Handcrafted by artisans in the Philippines where capiz is abundant, the shells are harvested from local windowpane oysters. In a process done entirely by hand, each shell is cleaned, cut, lacquered, framed in a thin band of brass, strung and attached to a brass-plated frame. A shining example of craftsmanship.
