A U-shaped base built of the same ultrathin wood frame as the tabletop gives the Gwich Dining Table a solid look that matches its feel, despite its ultra-slender profile.Mitre-folded construction retains a clean and finished look through every joint and edge, with the linear design recalling the Japanese-influenced designs of Brazilian art deco. Seats 10 guests comfortably.
LA-based designer Eric Trine “designs by making, rather than drawing.” Each project begins in his studio with his hands and tools. The idea for these tables was born on one of his many trips to a metal supplier where he saw a disc of salvaged sheet steel. He welded the geometric steel base and powder-coated it so it can live indoors or out. We love it as a display spot for terrariums, books or flea market finds.
Carve out a dining nook in even the smallest of spaces with our Wren Bistro Table. Sized just right of parties for two, it’s topped with a durable quartz composite, a material prized for its color consistency, hard-wearing surface and natural resistance to stains.
The playful, modern silhouette of this Fred Segal side table feels plucked from a Hollywood Hills patio. Minimalist bird legs lead from a rounded base to a flat surface ready to serve cocktails and snacks. Looks fly in pairs or striking solo.
