Classic table lamp by Mermelada Estudio blends warm tones with a hi-gloss finish. Shiny gold detailing trims lacquered parchment veneer, which will vary in pattern/color/texture.
Geometric base to suspended shade and architectural iron structure contrasts matte black and brushed nickel lines that intersect, angle and telescope to suspend a white linen light source as you please. Circular cutout base cleverly threads cord through the design to keep a neat, clean profile. Thompson likes to celebrate the functional aspects of her designs, stating that “the cantilever effect of this lamp creates a visual tension. The thinness of the structure accentuates the feeling that the illuminated shade is floating.”
