With its minimalist, balanced form, our Sphere + Stem Floor Lamp’s gleaming glass globe seems to float against its thin metal body for an elevated, modern look.
Geometric base to suspended shade and architectural iron structure contrasts matte black and brushed nickel lines that intersect, angle and telescope to suspend a white linen light source as you please. Circular cutout base cleverly threads cord through the design to keep a neat, clean profile. Thompson likes to celebrate the functional aspects of her designs, stating that “the cantilever effect of this lamp creates a visual tension.
