Artisan-inspired floor lamp features distressed leather wrapped around a steel pole and secured by matte black rivets. Designer Ceci Thompson was inspired by Mexican leatherworking, horse saddles and fashion accessories when creating this mixed media piece.

Reading light, ambient light or spotlight does it all. Brushed nickel with perforated edge detail, trio of adjustable shades beam light all at once or one at a time via individual rotary switches. Sleek cylindrical base is an extra-smart design detail. Takes up little space but adds a lot of style.
Chandelier gets the whimsical treatment . Three tiers are reminiscent of a tiered cake, rendered in a modern antique brushed brass finish. Soft linen shade at the center keeps it sophisticated.

Thompson likes to celebrate the functional aspects of her designs, stating that “the cantilever effect of this lamp creates a visual tension.
