This modern/vintage chandelier by Mermelada Estudio was inspired by the shape of an open parachute. Handpainted glass and brass suspend beautifully in midair; we love the elegance it adds over a dining room table.
Our design-inspired lighting illuminates every room with architectural splendor. Through an intelligent use of composite woods, metallic paints, and brass accents, our one-of-a-kind lamps can brighten any room with modern, sculptural grace. The Albion Lamp’s wooden shade features a translucent top for warm, gentle lighting. Uses 8W compact fluorescent bulb, 2700K warm white.
Grand in scale and statement, iridescent capiz shells seem to glow from within. Handcrafted by artisans in the Philippines where capiz is abundant, the shells are harvested from local windowpane oysters. In a process done entirely by hand, each shell is cleaned, cut, lacquered, framed in a thin band of brass, strung and attached to a brass-plated frame. A shining example of craftsmanship.
Chandelier gets the whimsical treatment . Three tiers are reminiscent of a tiered cake, rendered in a modern antique brushed brass finish. Soft linen shade at the center keeps it sophisticated.
