Designer Ceci Thompson loves how “the tubular structure itself is very minimal, even a bit industrial and lets the unencumbered bulb be the focus.” Solid block of Carrara-style marble anchors base, while matte black iron pole streamlines up and over in a continuous flow.

Geometric base to suspended shade and architectural iron structure contrasts matte black and brushed nickel lines that intersect, angle and telescope to suspend a white linen light source as you please. Circular cutout base cleverly threads cord through the design to keep a neat, clean profile. Thompson likes to celebrate the functional aspects of her designs, stating that “the cantilever effect of this lamp creates a visual tension. The thinness of the structure accentuates the feeling that the illuminated shade is floating.”
Four transparent acrylic columns add dimension to brass-plated floor lamp base by Ceci Thompson. Topped with a cotton/linen drum shade, this art-deco inspired piece adds a touch of glam to any size space.
