Classic cantilever design scales slim and sculptural. Designer Ceci Thompson loves how “the tubular structure itself is very minimal, even a bit industrial and lets the unencumbered bulb be the focus.” Solid block of Carrara-style marble anchors base, while matte black iron pole streamlines up and over in a continuous flow.

Chandelier gets the whimsical treatment . Three tiers are reminiscent of a tiered cake, rendered in a modern antique brushed brass finish. Soft linen shade at the center keeps it sophisticated.
Three frosted globe shades extend from brushed brass pole like bubbles floating in a champagne glass. Designer Brett Beldock was actually inspired by street lamps for this chic, fanciful floor lamp.
Geometric base to suspended shade and architectural iron structure contrasts matte black and brushed nickel lines that intersect, angle and telescope to suspend a white linen light source as you please. Circular cutout base cleverly threads cord through the design to keep a neat, clean profile. Thompson likes to celebrate the functional aspects of her designs, stating that “the cantilever effect of this lamp creates a visual tension. The thinness of the structure accentuates the feeling that the illuminated shade is floating.”
