This innovative pendant consists of one, three or five dimmable LED lamp heads, each attached to an extra-long cord, all of which can be configured as desired for optimal direction of light. Sculptural silhouette tells a tall tale with a mid-century twist. Space-saving design hits a dramatic peak and swivels with a 360-degree shade rotation, shining light any direction you need it. Nickel-plated steel illuminates industrial with contrasting white interior to softly diffuse the glow. Suspends sturdy from warm black walnut-finished ash wood wall plate.
Geometric base to suspended shade and architectural iron structure contrasts matte black and brushed nickel lines that intersect, angle and telescope to suspend a white linen light source as you please. Circular cutout base cleverly threads cord through the design to keep a neat, clean profile. Thompson likes to celebrate the functional aspects of her designs, stating that “the cantilever effect of this lamp creates a visual tension. The thinness of the structure accentuates the feeling that the illuminated shade is floating.”
Chandelier gets the whimsical treatment . Three tiers are reminiscent of a tiered cake, rendered in a modern antique brushed brass finish. Soft linen shade at the center keeps it sophisticated.
Three frosted globe shades extend from brushed brass pole like bubbles floating in a champagne glass. Designer Brett Beldock was actually inspired by street lamps for this chic, fanciful floor lamp.
